BeepBus is Barbados’ first transit app. We use collected data and live tracking insights to map Barbados’ bus transit system. Over 45, 000 commuters take buses across the island daily, and BeepBus empowers commuters to now search by route, bus type or destination to select the best journey option for them.
Built for us and by us, the team at BeepBus have built the first app of it’s kind in Barbados with an aim to improve the lives of Caribbean people through leveraging technology; one city at a time. We saw the need and thought why hasn’t anyone done this? So we did! BeepBus is available for both Android and iOS in the app store and will also be available to web users in the coming months via our web platform – currently in development.
BeepBus also calculates the estimated time and fare to your destination – Now you have all the information you need to make the best decision for you!
With over 16, 000+ downloads on Android and iSO during our initial pilot and testing period, BeepBus includes route information on buses across the island: Transport Board, ZRs and Minibuses.
